Blow By Blow

My friend Luigi Garuti sent me an old magazine article last week, which included an interesting photo. It immediately caught both our attention, because it was from a gig which we hadn’t seen before. Luigi and I came to the conclusion that the photo was likely to have been taken on 16 June 1968, when Jimi jammed with Jeff Beck at the ‘Daytop Under The Stars Music Festival,’ a four-day (outdoors) benefit at Reality House Rehabilitation Center in New York in aid of rehabilitation of drug addicts.
